NYTimes: Bush Plans Aggressive Effort to Sell Iraq Plan
Edited on Mon Jan-08-07 04:15 PM by spanone
It's already started, Miami, Austin, New York. Sell Sell Sell.

I certainly wish that they would aggresively stop killing people.

~snip~ WASHINGTON, Jan. 8 — The White House is planning an aggressive effort to sell Congress and the American public on President Bush's new strategy for Iraq, beginning with a prime-time address to the nation Wednesday night, a trip by the president to Fort Benning, Ga., to visit with troops on Thursday and appearances on Capitol Hill by the secretaries of state and defense.

7. "catapulting bush's bullshit" would seem a loser; once Americans wake up to the fact
they're being lied to, tricked, conned, duped, they don't go back to being lied to, tricked, conned, duped. Not by the same lying bullshitting con-artist MFing trickster, anyways.

8. Oh no, here we go again.
Another half billion in Jet Fuel and a traveling security surge. Another Bush sales surge. Another paid vacation. More taxpayer financed GOP fun raisers. SAME OLD SHITHEAD!

Congress need to investigate Bush's taxpayer funded sales trips/vacations/junkets/fund raisers...

9. Oh crap, more of Georgie teachin' us
Day after day cable news showing us moving pictures of Georgie teaching us about how good more death and destruction is.

What did we do so wrong to deserve this?

12. How much is this "effort" going to cost us? Effort should be at ending the war, not escalating it.

13. For Dubya, that's not news, that's business as usual.
News would be if Dubya were to somehow change his strategy.

14. This might be a good thing
people will know exactly who is pushing for this without a doubt. The more he talks it up the more that people will be against it most likely. It can only be more of the same and that was already rejected by the American public in November.
