Have you looked at Waterpoweredcar.com?

It is also amazing to recognize how much the oil interests and the Bush Administration are trying to stop everyone who has created alternatives to the polluting substance that force Americans and every other country's to further destroy our air, water and land.

To see a video about Stan and his dune buggy.

http://waterpoweredcar.com/stanmeyer.html

Stan Meyer's Dune Buggy that ran on water.

Hydrogen/Oxygen fuel in an ICE motor. On board electrolysis, no hydrogen tanks, no bombs on-board, just water. (1998)

It ran 100 miles per gallon! The 2nd best inventor of the Century, besides Tesla, who was and will always be #1. Stan is the mustard seed of Water Powered Cars! The video left above is a one timed aired news cast, from his home town of Grove City , Ohio that you are not to view. The video screen to the right is a segment of the Equinox program about Stanley aired back in Dec. 1995 (approx.) See the entire program entitled "It Runs on Water" narrated by Arthur C. Clarke in video clips below.
It is in 4 parts, made possible by Andy the WizardKing from Blackpool, England.
Part 1 • Part 2 • Part 3 • Part 4

He was a shame to hear that he was poisoned (March 98') and longer with us. He died in the parking lot of a restaurant in his home town of Grove City, Ohio. Sharks came a week later and stole the the dune buggy and all of his experimental equipment, according to his brother, Steve. Stan said while he was alive, that he was threatened many times and would not sell out to Arab Oil Corp.s The Military was going to use this technology in their tanks, jeeps, etc. He had patents on his invention and was ready for production. Only $1,500 to equip your car! See the Videos above. No gasoline, just water. Stanley said he was offered a billion dollars from an Arab to basically shelf his idea. Stan said, "no, this technology is for the people." Who you suppose poisoned Stan? A jealous onlooker? Do you think the Oil Corp.'s are happy to see a converted car running for FREE?? Our own US DOE, and the present administration are heavily involved in the Oil business. If GW wanted my respect,I'd have inventors like Stan on TV and with me in the White House, discussing how to save this dying planet and break the bonds of ruled corruption and greed. I have read the DOE's hydrogen & fuel cell technology and they don't mention making hydrogen from pure water, until the last page. They rather get hydrogen from hydrocarbons. They don't mention "On Board Hydrogen Electrolysis" make the egas as you go. They talk about Hydrogen Gas Stations at how much per gallon?

So what is happening with Stan's Great Invention of the 20th Century!! Absolutely nothing. Are they manufacturing his invention. NO, Why not? because it would solve all the world's problems today. That is NOT how politics work there buddy. Common Sense is NOT for humans, only good for OUTLAWS & so called terrorists.? Huh? We live in a time when good is spoken of as evil and evil spoken up as good. Why do I say that because it is true. We were told Our twin towers was taken down by airplanes, when the truth is, it was taken down by C4 explosives. It was a shabby job and they spilled the evidence as loose change. Connect the dots, it is that simple. Sorry to have shocked you and made your face turn red, but Building #7 came down in 7 seconds, not 18 as the 911 commission report told us. No planes hit that building, only a few offices fires happened. It was all too fishy from me, and continues to stink like a dead rat.

All they talk about is hydrogen gas stations run by Shell and a Canadian Oil Firm. Then they talk all about "hydrogen fuel cells" which take a lifetime of gas burned just to make one fuel cell. A hydrogen fuel cell factory is a real SMOG factory. To explain better read on. There Fuel Cells are not as efficient as a "On board Hydrogen Electrolysis" fuel cell. Stan made the gas as he drove, no hydrogen tanks, no fuel cells, no need for Shell Hydrogen Stations. He spent 30 years of research all on his own.

1. Also at that site
snip>
The first Hydrogen/Oxygen Generator was invented and patented on 1918, by Charles Frazer You might be thinking, if these hydrogen booster were so great they would have been manufacturing them all this time. Not so, , , , did you know that there are over 240 patents (since 1930) in the world on carburetors or fuel injection systems that get 100-250 MPG!!! and not ONE is being manufactured today! Do the math. If the average car today gets 20 MPG, imagine 100 MPG! that means the Oil Corps would lose 80%! then they make now. Instead of $25 billion dollar quarter profits, they would make only $5 billion. Is the US Energy Dept. run by Oil Corp executives. YES. Do they tell the car manufactures on what they can make? YES. Does it all make sense? Hell no.

more:

<12 volts (2 volts is best, less heat) going to 2 electrodes in a water container that can take boiling temp.s, separates hydrogen gas on the cathode (-) rod and oxygen gas comes off the anode (+) rod from H2O with a 1-3% solution of electrolyte. KOH is the best electrolyte, but you can use lye, sulfuric acid. KOH (Potassium Hydroxide) is a base for the electrolysis to happen. Buy at chemical suppliers. The combo of Hydrogen & oxygen gases mix together burn clean and output a high combustion. Called Brown's gas or egas. They act like a catalyst to your gasoline or propane burning engines. As long as you burn the gas as you drive their is no danger of storing/compressing the gases in tanks (like propane)
That is the whole idea of "On Board Electrolysis Fuel Cells". Only make enough gas as you need. After you build a hydro-booster it gets you to thinking, hey if this works why not make one that produces enough gas to run my car totally on water! That is the part the DOE, the Oil Corp.s do not want you to do. It will cut them off someday. If they knew what I was writing here, they would have a .357 Magnum pistil to my head. Yes, Big Business have a MOB too. We need to be the MOB. Get everyone onto Water as a Fuel is the goal. Also remember "perfect love casts out all fear" the Bible says that. So Go for it Dude!

5. Repealing Laws of Thermodynamics?
Lets see I am going to use electricity to seperate Water into Hydrogen and Oxygen. Then use a ICE to convert Hydrogen and Oxygen back into water and generate enough electricity to supply the seperator. And after all that have enough energy left over to power the car.

This is a scam. What is proposed here is a "Perpetual Motion" machine.

6. While this definitely sounds intriguing enough

that I clicked on the link for more info. Instead of more info I just got confused. The writer is assuming I am a fellow inventor who is fluent in the lingo he throws around without explanation. Even the instructions for building a "booster" left me scratching my head.

Maybe this is the real deal. Who knows? I don't know what to make of it. This would truly be historic and revolutionary if true. Maybe I'm just not smart enough, but I can't make any sense of the website.

If he really feels he has the knowledge to transform civilization he should at least make a better effort to be understood by dummies like me. It's supposed to be so simple, but he gives me a headache with his "explanation". I'm tempted to dismiss the whole thing as bunk.

7. The "truth" is that this is bullshit
Whoever wrote waterpoweredcar.com is in love with electrolysis of water to produce hydrogen.

The question we must first ask ourselves is, "how much power does it take to electrolyze water?" The answer we must first give ourselves is, "a shitload."

I found this: http://www.stardrivedevice.com/electrolysis.html, which explains that it takes 32kWh of electricity to produce a "gallon of gasoline" equivalent of hydrogen. Those of us who deal with generators know that it requires two horsepower from your engine to get one kilowatt from your generator. Therefore, to get 32kWh out of a generator you need 64 horsepower from the engine.

It's going to take more than a gallon of gas per hour to get 64 horsepower out of an engine no matter what you do.

If you've got THAT much power sitting around on the car, route it to drive motors and forget this crazy electrolysis shit.
