Although it should have been done on 12/12/2000, After the events of the past week.....

And everything we have observed, one thing is clear.

This Madman and his handlers have to go. They must be removed.

Period.

It's that simple.

Impeachment, 25th Amendment, Pitchforks And Torches, Pick the Tonic.

Bush, Cheney, and the lot are War Criminals. Period.
Bush, Cheney, and the lot are War Profiteers. Period.
Bush, Cheney, and the lot have committed crimes against humanity. Period.

Bush, Cheney, and the lot are a Clear And Present Danger to not only the citizens of this country, the fabric of our Republic which is held together by our Constitution, the very existence of our government and the survivability of such, but they are a Clear And Present Danger to every country on this planet. Period.

*************************************

What would you do if you
Knew all of the things we knew
Would you stand up for truth
Or would you turn away too
And then what if you saw
All of the things that's wrong
Would you stand tall and strong
Or would you turn and walk away

Hope you understand the time brother cause it's Major......

3. my only regret is . . .
that you mince words too readily. I really wish that you would speak your mind more clearly. That said, if we do not take your advice in the near future, we will be unable to act at a later date.
Now that the US military can spy on US citizens here in the USA, how far of a step is it before they spy on you and me, and others who disagree with this fascist group of war criminals?
How long before the tubes of the internets are merely traps for those of us who are unprepared; when even e-mail communications can be the cause of warrantless arrest, with no tribunal, counsel or witnesses available to us? How long before a boogie man is concocted and recreated, in order to confuse, mislead and misdirect the general public. Just like this "war on terra", WMD, and that lovely mushroom cloud statement, this administration will concoct an enemy, claim that its source is secret, and tell America, "Trust us. This is for your own good"

Bullshit. The bush administration is at war, but not with Iraq. Instead, its target is the USA. For now, they are winning.

5. It is within my ability to do so, and you are correct that such passages should be presented
But it's really come down to the simplicity of what it is.

They have to go.

Your response is eloquent, so very relevant, and so very true. Everything you mentioned is at the heart of what I feel and understand, but what I posted is meant to reflect the urgency of the situation we find ourselves in, and the whole of this nation MUST come to the understanding that the urgency IS that High, the hour IS that late, and the time is NOW.

So often we are told not to compare this gang of thugs to another unspeakable group from 70 years ago.

My retort is simple....

How long can the world afford to let them remain in the influence of Power before the comparison is not only relevant, but mainstream accepted and factual?

I'd rather see that question answered with their removal from power, so that we do not have to see the possible result of the answered question in a form of their choosing.

Nice succinct quote I read recently which goes to the core of the matter.

7. We are witnessing the end of America
Was it Alexander Hamilton who suggested that every generation should have its own revolution, to prevent precisely what is happening to us now? Well, it has occured in the past several times, but we may be too close to recognize it. So in the 20th century, I suspect that we have lived through several of them already.

Revolution #1
The revolution of the '60s kicked America out of its racist, close-minded, anti-commie, sheeplike behavior. Not just with music, culture, arts, drugs, but with the very perception of reality and society. Sure, not everything was golden or perfect, but it was a great lead forward. We took away shackles of racism, of closed-mindedness, of oppression, and began to fully understand freedom as our forefathers intended.

Revolution #2
Then came another revolution that coincided with the election of Reagan. The corporate world reacted to the '60s by co-opting it.Packaging it. Selling it. Sucking the very soul out of it, by design. They continue to draw strength through misdirection. They turned America into supersized massive shopping mall, with supersized, massive shoppers, pushing supersized massive shopping carts through huge caverns of goods, ready to load into their supersized massive SUVs, while they stop for a take out Supersized massive grease and fried potato meal. With their diet coke.

Revolution #3
The latest revolution has been Power/Religious based. As for Power? The neoConman movement that destroyed the Party of Lincoln, pushed out all moderates, all rational thinkers, all of those who cherished and worked for the very best ideas that Republicans once stood for. Freedom of speach, freedom of choice, freedom to do well and succeed, or to fail, and try again. Freedom from an overpowerful government. Ye Olde GOP of yesteryear did more for social security, benefits for the poor and to strengthen the social safety net as Republicans, at least until Reagan's era. Most GOPers from a generation past would be puking up a gut at the idea of domestic surveillance without a warrant. PNAC and the neoConman movement have done more to destroy America than I thought possible in my most paranoid nightmare. But there it is.

As for Religion? Every Faith Based initiative destroys every social net we have worked hard to create. Were there excesses in welfare, medical and other aspects of that safety net? of course, but far less in scope than the outright greed and theft that we face now. What a few welfare queens did retail, Haliburton, Enron, and many others do wholesale, at a far greater level of corruption, deceit, fraud and theft. The idea that the Big Ditch forest service employees cannot estimate the length of time that erosion occured, simply because some dimwitted, smallminded, fairy-tale believing, self-deluded cretin might be offended should be the source of rioting and protests, not passive acceptance and mild regret.

Philosophy has been replaced by crass commercialism and supersized massive evangelical churches. Rational thought has been replaced by faith based initiatives, crowding out the very idea of intellectual curiosity and a hunger for discovery and progress.

We are witnessing the fall of America. WE have lost our soul our ability to lead, our righteous, equitable and fair-mindedness. It is replaced with leadership by military-based group thought, by invading countries based on lies and by creating a scared population of sheeple, worried about dirty, rag-headed, smelly AYrabs lurking behind corners, ready to pounce on honest, god-fearing, trustworthy, patriotic americans heading to church.

The only response is to follow the advice of Hamilton and have another revolution.

freedom of religion? sure, so long as we have FREEDOM FROM RELIGION, at the same time.
No more war-making? Absolutely, so long as we defend our own borders from enemies from without and within.
Education? Yup, but not with some idiotic, unfunded mandate like Leave No Child's Behind.
Environment? hell, energy, clean air and water, are all related. If we spent 1/10 of the cost of our little IraqNami Invasion, we'd have superb battery storage capacity, clean non-fossil fuel energy supplies, and efficent personal movement devices that would be a dream to park and recharge.

Yes, we do need a revolution, and the first step is to remove the president, Darth and their criminal cronies from office. LEgally. Bloodlessly, through the use of all constitutional tools.

4. There was a big puff piece about S. D. O'Connor this morning...
on the Biography channel. Just before some bible thumping pseudo-history about Cain and Abel.

:puffpiece:

I'm thinking the Reptards are on the offensive.

9. if I may be so bold, the longest march starts with the tiniest of steps.
if you lead, others will follow. If you stand up and take a brave stance, others will gain from your insight and strength, and add their energy to you and others.

While we can bitch and moan, actually doing something is far more important. I do not suggest that we all have to do the same thing, but rather, we are individuals with unique talents and strengths. We need to apply those best suited to us, and use the tools that we have.

to this war. People had magnets that said support the troops. She had a mouth that said bring them home. Now there are military officers speaking against the war, and the invasion of another Country.

12. My niece just came in to show me her drawing.
She's not yet a year and a half old, but she can stomp around with the best of them. And, while she doesn't say many real words yet (she knows "no, no, no"), she's expressive and has a form of sign language we all use to communicate. Her mother, my sister, almost died having her.

I may not deserve much personally in this world (nothing good, anyway), but that little girl does. This administration or tyrants and traitors are intentionally destroying that little girl's world, and that I will not allow. No one attacks my family and gets away with it.

My niece, and all of the children, demand we stop them before it's too late.
