Chimpolini will be on The News Hour this evening
couldn't sleep last night/early this morning, and while channel surfing I landed on CNN (Lou Dobbs repeat). Said Chimpolini is trying to "take his message to the people" and his CBS interview will be followed up by an appearance on PBS this evening.

6. Why?
What's this idiot* trying to accomplish?, I think that the majority of News Hour viewers are above average intelligence, they have their minds made up and the screechings of a retarded monkey are just that, screechings.

14. I wish. I'm sure he considers PBS to be that station that caters to the high-falutin'
fancy pants thinkin' interlectshuls who need to edumacated to "his" reality of war.

Or maybe he just wants to meet Bert and Ernie.

8. Remember the old days when BushCo avoided ALL the media?

They stayed in seclusion and the media couldn't get a word out of them with a crowbar. They all had contempt and disdain for all legitimate journalists. Any appearances were done strictly on their terms.

I think it's funny that now that the have all been proven without any doubt that they are a band of thieves and liars that they are seeking out any and all cameras and microphones in order to spew their lies and spin. Take just recently Tony Snowjob's travelling roadshow. Everywhere you would turn your TV or radio dial he was there.

It's a certain sign of their desperation.

17. Is this part of his self-proclaimed role as.......
Edited on Tue Jan-16-07 11:29 AM by butlerd
"Educator-in-Chief" that he talked about the other night on 60 minutes? Or is this more of the "catapulting of the propaganda" that he mentioned back in 2005? If he couldn't sell us on his Social Security "deform" back in 2005 when he had so much "political capital" to spend (:eyes:) how in the world does he expect to "sell" us on his latest and greatest plan to send more and more troops to Iraq (which is LESS popular than his Social Security plan ever was)? Also, if he doesn't really care about what the rest of us think (as he and Cheney continue to say publicly), WHY is he even bothering to try to "sell" his "plan?" WHAT'S his selling point? :wtf:

18. Hmm. This is an interesting development. I've never been able to watch him after the 2000
debacle, but maybe it will be a more substantive interview on PBS.

(i) Hopeful! (i)
