Was there any evidence another "terrorist" attack was planned on US ?

I have heard numerous times about how "we have not been attacked since 9/11"? Were there plans for more attacks? After all, 9/11 was their "big hit". That was the culmination of their efforts - not the beginning. September 11th was their "victory". They had finally gotten even with "the Great Satan".

I doubt there was evidence for any further attacks. However, it proves politically effective for some folks to say that we have not been attacked since 9/11. Of course, we all know about the attacks upon the Embassy in Greece and the anthrax attacks, etc. But, that aside, does this argument hold any water at all?

3. We haven't been invaded by hostile inter-galactic Space Slugs since 9/11

IN all honesty, it appears there was one legitimate plot since 9/11 that had a grand scale-that was the "liquid take-down" of Planes departing Britain. Most of the arrests have been for wannabe terrorist groups or non-verifiable threats.

We have suffered more casualties in Iraq then we experienced on 9/11, and most of the terrorists we seem to be fighting are in that arena.

So, no, we haven't had another attack since 9/11. And it's impossible to say what the goal of that attack(9/11) was. If Osama wanted the United States to invade the middle east and rally the militant Sunni sects against the US and the Shiite minority-mission accomplished. There would be no need for other attacks...Where it stands now is that the middle east is on the verge of an all out war, as Turkey, Iran, and Saudi Arabia move in and take portions of the territory that is/was Iraq.

IN the long run, the goal of Osama is to purge western, non-Sunni elements from the holy land. Those elements would include: Shiites(Iranians and Most of Iraq), the US(we have had military bases in the region since the gulf war)and the state of Israel(notice I didn't say Jews. Jewish people have lived in harmony and still do in many Muslim countries. It's the state of Israel that is the source of ire).

So, no, we haven't had any attacks here. However, our reaction is furthering Osama's goals.

that failed. Was TWA Flight 800 under the control of terrorists when it was shot down?
