this is what the neo con woman who runs the govt. drug agency said this morning on c-span's Wash. Journal. after she said this the host sat there like an empty lump and said nothing.

a number of callers said they loved the new drug policy and not to let the stupid dems change it.

she has been on before, didn't mark down her name.

I was so pissed I just turned the TV off.

9. There was also a caller who said before the Part D law, he &

his wife got their drugs FREE from the manufacturer due to very low income. After Part D was passed, they lost that benefit, and now can't afford them at all!

11. If they have a really low income, then they qualify for *extra

help* and should get their meds on Part D for $1 generic and $5 brand name. Also, some manufacturers are still running the *indigent programs* to give free meds to those who make under $25,000 (sometimes a lot more).

10. Oh geez, people are so frickin' stupid

Not only do we pay exhorbitant prescription prices over the counter, but gee, we get to pay for a large chunk of these drug companies R&D work with our tax dollars. We are screwed coming and going.

Makes me wonder if this woman is willfully blind on this issue, or just plain stupid.
