This Iran attack ?
Thom Hartmann today has been talking about this . I missed a good part of the show but it does not look good .

I really wonder if there is a way it can be stopped before it gets out of control and it looks like it may get out of control soon .

You know each day you wake up and there is little news but by the end of the day , especially weekends , you get online of listen to liberal talk shows who do tell the truth and wham ! there you are on edge all over again .

All this will take is one more push and we will be into it and they are pushing , they refering to the bush freak team , pushing hard to bring it on .

4. Thank you , I missed this one
I try to keep track of all the lastest Iran posts and I must say it looks worse every day , well almost everyday .

I am closer to thinking these freaks can't be stopped , impeachment won;t work fast enough and the protest in DC on the 25th will most likely be ignored , maybe not by the house but by the executive freaks at the wheel .

7. Keep the pressure on .... never give up on Peace.
From the above editorial I linked: "The only action that can stop Bush is for both the Democratic and Republican leadership of the House and Senate to call on the White House, tell Bush they know what he is up to and that they will not fall for it a second time. The congressional leadership must tell Bush that if he does not immediately desist, he will be impeached and convicted before the week is out." -snip-

worth repeating: The congressional leadership must tell Bush that if he does not immediately desist, he will be impeached and convicted before the week is out." -snip-

one more time:

... impeached and convicted before the week is out.

-snip-

sorry to yell .... :) .... but whatever it takes sometimes huh?

Here's another possibility .......
... "Republican senators could one day show up in the Oval Office to tell Bush that the party is no longer with him and the war must end—much like Sen. William Fulbright's forcefully urging Lyndon Johnson to bring the Vietnam War to a close." -snip-

that was taken from this article posted in this thread ...http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=364x3128283

Once an IMMEDIATE impeachment resolution is done with, Federal Marshalls should march up to the White House and arrest him if he fails to comply ...... Peace

8. I wish threats would work
Johnson was not crazy , he was at least resonable . These people are crazy and listen to no one so getting them out is difficult or they would be on their way already .

Trouble is , if they are pressured they are likely to speed things up and this is what I feel the hold back has been .

Lets say bush provokes Iran or worse sets up a fake attack , by the time the lies are found and proof is found it will be well into a war .

Look at 9/11 , even though many may say they won't be fooled again this is not the same thing , they will just do it and we will be here trying to sort it all out while the ME blows up .

2. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia is "mulling" sending troops into Iraq...
Edited on Tue Jan-16-07 01:49 PM by roamer65
to "protect" Sunni interests. I think battlelines are being drawn as we speak.

I wonder how Iran and Turkey will react to this?

5. Oh, great
This will work out well . Man we are running out of time and it gets worse , there are so many things we don't know that can be even worse than we suspect .
