Do you want to study MIT courses for free? How about Notre Dame?
I read about this awesome web-site last week. Dozens of top ranked universities from all around the world have posted all of their courses on these web-sites. FOR FREE!! It's called Open Course Ware. No registration is required.

You can't earn a degree, or interact with professors, but if you want to learn something, just for learnings sake, check it out. And check out the consortiums partners.

All course materials are posted.

Here's the link to MIT's site. You can get to all the other partners from there.

http://ocw.mit.edu/index.html

Now that the elections are over for a while, this will give me something to do besides surf DU all day.

Wise up!

1. It is awesome
MIT, although still struggling with issues of gender equality, is the most open minded and free-thinking campus I've ever been.

2. K&R
I wonder how many freepers will scream "Socialism!!!"

I also wonder how many of them will partake in those free courses... hypocrisy to them is like sex for hypersexuals... (nymphomaniacs).

5. Yeah, learning for free is unamerican!
If you get something without making a republican a little richer in some way then the terrorists win.

14. Yeah ... all we need is open courseware for the 2nd Grade
Oh that's right. We already have it; it's called public school. Too bad the freepers haven't taken advantage of this opportunity.

15. Wow, how neat!
Now that I finished grad school, I've already started to miss school. Not GRAD school, but the types of classes I took as an undergrad. I'll def. check this out.

16. Great link! Thanks!
I haven't been able to take graduate courses for a couple semesters. This way, I could keep studying just to learn, even when I don't have the money to get credits. Thanks for posting!
