Okay.....I've watched a lot of the lies and spin today....
...on supposed cable news networks...And between the part where they do not bother to ask real questions and the part where 30-50% of their attention is applied to 2-3 murdered or missing blonds....My point is we need an entirely new term to describe "news channels" that spend a large part of their news budget on minor news murders and meretricious nonsense..and these channels should be referred to as "slooze" channels..as in sleazy news....I watch a channel, such as MSNBC and watch them devote not just hours to "Imus in the Morning"but clowns such as Rita Cosby who has no more idea OF WHAT AN IMPORTANT STORY IS THAN a rock-meaning where important people ARE dieing like Iraq doesn't get air time...In short, much of it is slooze and trying to find the truth on US tv is like seeking a unicorn.....or a virgin...almost crazy-yet past the slooze, the truth exists...

4. I like the old fashioned term "infotainment".
"Slooze" sounds like some sort of liquid, partially treated sewage. Then again, maybe it is appropriate.
