HALLIBURTON & THE AXIS OF EVIL

by Tom Harper @ 12:31 am
When you hear “Iran” and “nuclear” in the same sentence, you probably imagine thousands of hysterical rioters and looters, a fire-breathing Mullah with his finger on The Button, and Halliburton?!?!?

While Dick Cheney and his little sockpuppet are whipping up hysteria about Iran having nuclear weapons, Halliburton — Cheney’s alma mater — has been working with Iran’s nuclear development team. They’ve sold centrifuges and detonators specifically for use in a nuclear reactor, according to Halliburton sources.

Cyrus Nasseri, a senior member of Iran’s nuclear team, has allegedly accepted $1 million in bribes from Halliburton while providing them with Iran’s nuclear secrets. Halliburton and the White House have both refused to comment on this.

Halliburton officially discontinued its work last Spring with Cyrus Nasseri, but has still been working with him in an “advisory capacity.”

Halliburton provided Iran with key nuclear reactor components
8/10/2005 8:11:00 AM GMT

Halliburton, the scandal-plagued oil company, that Vice President Dick Cheney used to run, sold an Iranian company key components for a nuclear reactor, Halliburton sources revealed.

Cheney was CEO from 1995 to 2000, during which Halliburton Products and Services set up shop in Iran.

Halliburton, which sells about $40 million a year worth of oil field services to the Iranian Government, was secretly aiding one of Iran’s top nuclear program officials on natural gas related projects and provided the official's oil development company with the components last April, the sources said.

2. Free trade, free trade, free trade at any cost.
If there is money to be made on the deal, than America is going to promote it. It doesn't matter if it allows terrorists to control our ports. It doesn't matter if it gives WMD to our enemies. If a buck can be made on the deal, it is done in America in the name of greed and crazy king George.

3. nothing new here
Halliburton was trading with Saddam Hussein, in contravention to the sanctions, during the same period. In other words, Deadeye Dick helped Saddam buy the bullets used against our troops.

4. Even if Halliburton is an American company
Where are they getting access to centrifuges and nuclear detonators to sell to other countries. These things are strictly controlled I would think. I also see no reason for an oil field equipment company to have nuke weapons or nuke power equipment.

I also know there is a list of foreign countries it is illegal to do business with, every company has a list of them, and there are massive fines if you are caught doing business with them. Last time I saw the list, Iran was still on it. How does Halliburton get away with breaking this law, in addition to have nuclear weapons equipment to sell they shouldn't have to begin with.
