1. That will certainly wake you up!
Something on the order of a quadruple espresso. Couple this with Veri-chip (btw, Tommy Thompson still hasn't "found time" to get his implanted as promised), companies actually chipping employees, British RFID car tags, it isn't a pretty picture at all.

2. There are more patented and sophisticated devices that could
be put to uses other than "beneficial".

Then there is the history of "research and development" to consider.

Dr. John P. Donoghue of Brown University helped develop Braingate technology, which is an interface between computers and brainwaves.

DARPA and NASA sponsored some of Dr. Donoghue's research.

This is not to suggest anything improper, yet when DARPA and other agencies are involved it is logical to assume that the results of R&D may be applied to uses other than intended.

3. because I've studied various end times prophecies...
Revelation 13:16-18 says this:

16And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

17And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

18Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

The warning after this is not to get this "mark," whatever it may be...but it does sound eerily similiar to the implantable chips they're talking about here in terms of identifying people by a specific number, etc. Of course then the argument comes about that we are already identified by our SS number, but a new economic system whereby you are forced to receive a mark and a new number is what it's talking about here. Makes sense if it's after a worldwide economic crash, then we go to a cashless system with every person on earth being marked in order to buy and sell, and if one is outside this system, that person will basically starve and die off.
