Poll question: If Bush is impeached, what will it be payback for?
Edited on Fri Mar-03-06 09:57 PM by mandyky
Apparently, Ron Paul, GOP Rep from TX has predicted the impeachment of GWB if Dems gain control of the Congress. I agree. But he also said it would be payback (or part) for the Clinton impeachment. I agree it might be a small part but I think GWB will be impeached because he has earned it.

What do you think?

2. One reason (perhaps the dumbest reason of all)
If he's impeached, it'll be because he scares his base...

...he's spent SO much time creating fear in his base that he can't function any more. He's put the "terrorist" bogeyman just around every corner and made people BELIEVE it. Almost ANY reasonable position he takes at this point (like the UAE ports deal) is seen as being "weak on terrorism" and hurts him.

He's turned himself into a one-trick pony. That'll be his undoing.

3. Joke
It's a joke this man was ever selected or even won the Republican nomination. This puke must be impeached for some reason even if it's just for being the most retarded person on earth.

15. Incompetent and not credible
The POTUS occassionally telling a fib is one thing, but every statement that comes out of this adminiistration turns out to be the opposite in truth.

5. Sadly, our "leaders" are not able to see the reality of the stolen
elections. However, so many other things are slapping us all in the face that it will be impossible to ignore all of them. The big WMD lies, Traitorgate (the Plame outing), and the ultimate :wtf: is the Dubai Ports scandal. It amazes me that this asswipe thought he could pull off a stunt like that, after 5 years of whipping us into a xenophobic, anti-Arab frenzy.

So while there are many many reasons, I think what will actually be on the letters of impeachment is selling our ports to Al Qaeda's pals the UAE.

6. Abuse of power is going FUNDRAISING during Katrina...and
staying on vacation despite the disaster. It was his chance to really be a hero for once and he BLEW IT.

His is a moron. He's supposed to be our leader! Where was he when Blanco said "PLEASE MR. PRESIDENT SEND US EVERYTHING YOU GOT"? He went to bed at the Ranch, he had a big day ahead. He had to go to California to give a speech on the war on terror. He strummed a guitar, while old people were chopping their way out of their attics.

9. Aand maybe, just maybe the people are ready to hold
them accountable for 9-11. How they turned our worst day into a win for them, and scare us to bloody hell, that was their worst abuse of power.

We don't want payback for Clinton. We're just being Americans and we want to do the right thing. That's all.

11. The republicans will use *'s impeachment for their own payback
in the future. This is like the MidEast: nothing will be over, just cycles of payback for centuries of injustice.

12. Conspiracy: medicaid debacle, lied to Congress,
conspiracy to out undercover cia operative. conspiracy to invade a sovereign nation under manufactured evidence. violation of the oath of office to preserve, protect and defend the constitution;
i.e. warrant less domestic surveillance of American citizens, conspiracy to cover up warrant less spying.

conspiracy. Ineffectual response to katrina devastation killing thousands of Americans and the resulting cover-up by Bush; i.e. no on could foresee the levees failing.

Aiding and abetting a terrorist supporting nation/group; After 9/11 bush stated you are either with us or against us in the war on terra. He said is you aid, support, finance or harbor terrorists, you are an enemy of america. Bush approves of the UAE owner company taking over control of 6 major US ports. Bush has threatened to veto any bill killing the port deal. UAE financially supports AlQaeda and financially supported the 9/11 attackers (money went thru UAE institutions)UAE leaders known to hunt with Osama bin Laden. Bush has chosen to turn the safety of America's seaports to terrorist sympathizers.

enough said?
