The Marc Emery story on 60 minutes is pissing me off!
The guy sold M.J. seeds. The prosecutor says they treat each seed as a pot plant. They want to extradite him from Canada for a possible life sentence in the U.S. for selling seeds to Americans. THIS IS NOT MY AMERICA!

1. Guess They've Never Tried To Grow It Eh?
Each seed as a pot plant?

That's like each sperm as a human

6. You just gotta wonder how much of our tax money is being
wasted on this. I hope the Canadian courts refuse to extradite - the severity of the punishment may make them think twice about agreeing to it.

11. true, we will never be connected as a group again
only as individuals. That's what the whole individual communication revolution is about: killing any sense of community we ever had. It's all about the individual, and the worship thereof, in America.

12. excuse me, but bullshit.
How did people start movements during the whiskey riots? by horseback. Newsprint. Word of mouth.

How did people communicate during the labor riots at the turn of last century? telegraph, newsprint, radio.

How did people in the 60s cooperate, exchange info and plan? telephone, mail, radio, even watching TV.

How did people in 2000 work on getting behind a candidate? the "internets"

How will we start movements, communicate, exchange info and make things happen? the same.
