Aljazeera has more on global warming & extinction info

than we do in our news. So, what does that say about our News? Not much good.

I was just out on English alJazeera and they have excellent articles on extinction of species. On article says that one million current species may be facing extinction by 2050 - and it names the locations. Most of them are on islands or areas that have been isolated until now. Current movement of human populations into the areas will be the cause of the extinctions.

I wish the Democratic Party would make this issue a huge part of their platform. All kinds of people everywhere have very strong feelings about the loss of habitat and the near extinctions of so many species that share our planet. And yet I seldom hear anything about it.
