Why are Republicans so obsessed with sex?
They are terrified of homosexuals.

They are terrified of liberated women.

They are obsessed with Clinton and his private parts.

The majority of politicians who get caught engaging in illicit sex are white fundie repug men.

What is wrong with these people? Obviously repressed sexuality is a dangerous thing.

I don't know about anyone else, but I am sick of their hypocritical bullshit.

They want to force women to have children that they bare no responsibility for.

They want to control everyone and everything, yet they can't even control themselves.

It's time to throw these sickos out and take back our rights, our bodies and our country.

Enough is enough.

4. Those who are talking about it aren't getting any
Those who are getting some don't generally feel the need to talk about it.

7. Given that their sexual views/practices are quite similar to
the views of our original immigrants (Puritans) why should we be surprised ?

In fact, Europe and England played a big and enduring joke on this new country - they got rid of most of their crazy religious folks by sending/forcing them over here.

Just imagine Ken Starr with a large / flat white collar and little gold rimmed glasses on the end of his nose. As he piously looks over those glasses and has the pinched face of somewhat who smells something bad - like sex - aren't those our forefathers? Can't you just tell he really wants to flog a witch to death.

9. Actually their problems with repressed sexuality
go back a lot further then the Puritans. The Puritans were among the worst of the worst of the Pauline Christians, but all the Christians who follow Paul instead of Jesus have major sexual hang ups. Unfortunately, since they are also in charge of much of the world, their impact on society has been devastating.

11. And for a slightly more recent take on the matter
I rather like the treatment of the subject of repressed sexuality on the right by Father Leo Booth in a little book called "When God Becomes a Drug."

8. What else they gonna talk about? Iraq?`
Sex, missing women, husbands accused of murder, Christmas greetings, and liberal professors. That exhausts the topics that are safe for them?

10. Many of them, I believe are "in the closet" gays
They would probably like to explore their feelings of homosexuality, but, they are too afraid. This could be the reason they act as if they're anti-gay. I've seen some of their spouses, and it's easy to understand their "pain." They know that misery loves company, so, they try to make sure everyone is just like them. It's not working for them. :nopity: :9 :+ Thou does protest too much!!
