Well DUers, there's the end of that story. When Chalabi speaks we know the truth has been spoken.

10. Brazilian?
Isn't that the amount stolen by embezzlers annually?

That seems to be a good tie in with Chalabi.

19. How did he get from disgrace, to oil ministry, to there? Have enough years
passed yet to sneak him into the top spot, during the finale of "American Idol" and "Survivor" without people noticing?

7. Once again, Wolf provides the platform
There's no delusion indulged by the neocons that they can't find a national platform for it somewhere. And Mr. Blitzer is only too happy to showcase the worst of worst.

9. Chalabi just blamed Bremer for the Iraq problem. Not Bush* of course.
He blames Bremer NOT Rumsfeld. GOD WHAT A CRIMINAL, I GUESS YOU DON'T TURN IN YOUR FELLOW CONSPIRATORS.

14. Two days ago, on the CBS Evening News...
he was interviewed for his thoughts on the war's third anniversary. There he was like he was some kind of expert, or even a statesman. I was flabbergasted.
I mentioned this in another thread. It was the first time I'd watched the network news in a while. It was terrifying to think they pass that out as information (the Chalabi thing was by no means the only outrage against the truth).

15. In retrospect, is it possible that the administration whores are setting
him up to take over Iraq, as I had thought so all along?

Do you remember when on our taxpayer dime, they flew him into Iraq with his own special forces?

16. I disagree
Chalabi has as much credibility in Iraq as he does on this forum. As a pundit, as a cocktail party fundraiser among the ignoranti, as a panel member for some "Foundation" think tank...and all far away from home (and harm). Those are his functions.

25. He has since then been pardonned
The Bush administration asked the Jordanian government to pardon him since it was just a couple of hunderd million dollars which he scammed and Bush explained that they were planning on scamming much more in Iraq, so Jordan pardoned him.
