That has been their MO for the last 2-3 months. I watched the webcast of a * event in January because the location was a couple of hours away and because I read here that CNN was trumpeting the fact that * would take on unscripted/unscreened questions.

Sure enough, obvious * supporters would get up and praise him lavishly before lobbing him a softball.

The questions may be unscreened, but the audience is as screened as ever. If they were completley random, only a third (at best) would be supporters.
