Go Bush?
A very delusional piece out of the SF Chronicle.

"ALLOW ME to explain why I remain among the dwindling number of Americans -- about 37 percent according to the American Research Group -- who approve of the job President Bush is doing.

The death toll of American troops and Iraqis killed by terrorist attacks keeps growing. Voters are fatigued and Bush is sinking in the opinion polls. Of course it is disheartening to read the casualty numbers every morning, as U.S. troops battle an often invisible enemy that also attacks Iraqis struggling to restore order to their nation."

2. My letter to Debra
Dear Ms. Saunders,

I agree; Go Bush, Go Far Far Away. With all due respect, your editorial was the most delusional piece I've heard to date to support a president who has let the country down at every turn. He has failed to protect us repeatedly, against warnings in catastrophic situations. He has enriched the rich at the expense of the middle class, denied the poor basic assistance, stripped civil rights, and last but not least, caused the deaths of thousands of people in a war started on a lie.

And yet, you cheerlead him. Just what good moral thing will come of all of this mess? Just how do you ignore all the horrible things that come as a direct result of George W. Bush? How do you justify law breaking? How do you justify trashing the environment? How do you agree that it's OK to screw the elderly with Medicare? How do you justify the government raiding our Social Security? After many hard years of work, I'm not willing to accept that personally.

Are you on the paid journalist-propaganda catapult team?

Ms. Patchuli

4. Hilarious!
She mentions death toll, fatigue, casualty numbers, invisible enemy, after 3 years the term "quagmire" is resonating, it's not a quick easy war, growing deficit, dangerously overconfident, underestimated troops needed, flat-footed response to Katrina...

and yet...

"Bush's greatest political failing has been his inability to get Americans to dislike his critics more than they dislike him."

BWAHAHAHA!

And yet she "approves of the job President Bush is doing"! Near as I can make out, she just admires his dogged determination "to do what he believes he has to do" no matter the cost.
