Goldwater's Nephew Pledges Tent Cities and Forced Labor
At this weekend's wingnut-off-

At a rally kicking off the effort at a remote southern Arizona ranch, politicians and activists opposing illegal immigration called for more border control.

Don Goldwater, a Republican candidate for Arizona governor, said he had a message for President Bush. "Build us that wall now," Goldwater said, referring to a measure that would add 700 miles of fences along the border. He promised that if elected, he would put illegal immigrants in a tent city on the border and use their labor to build the wall. Goldwater is a nephew of the late Sen. Barry Goldwater.

2. Gee, that's what some farmers do with them
Mr. Goldwater just wants to get the government in on the scam. Why should private business get all the cheap labor?

I hope they're paying VERY CLOSE ATTENTION and if they have LEGAL immigrant family members here, perhaps they will vote accordingly. GEEZUS. This is sick.

8. I hope legal immigrants are paying attention too
Because they are next. Followed by anyone who looks "Mexican". Cheap slave labor can be addicting.

Most of the Japanese sent to WWII internment camps were US citizens, and many were born here. Didn't matter. Won't matter this time either.

4. Are they fascists yet?
It seems like once they start talking openly about concentration camps and forced labor, it ought to be OK to refer to the GOP by it's proper name.

10. Gee, I thought 'forced labor' or slavery was illegal in the USA.
"he would put illegal immigrants in a tent city on the border and use their labor to build the wall".

I think Barry Goldwater will be spinning in his grave. Barry was a real conservative. Don, however, seems more like a Chimpy wanna-be.
