Some evidence that NATO allies are weary of America and Bush.
From Dutch News Digest, click on 'Dutch Parliament Approves Afghanistan Mission'
The coalition party, Democrats66, objected to the mission as early as 22 December 2005 . The party had two essential arguments. First, the leader of the party Boris Dittrich and defense spokesman Bert Bakker, felt that the dual track assignment was too fraught with danger as overlapping could not be avoided and secondly, they objected to any eventual cooperation of Dutch forces with Americans, not over the objective of eliminating the threat from the Taliban, but about the brute way in which the Bush Administration conducted the war on terrorism.
This administration has caused deep mistrust between America and her greatest allies. What Bush has done in just over five years will takes decades to heal, if heal it does.
