1. or he can go the same route that Illinois Govenor Ryan did
get a powerful insider law firm to take your case pro bono.

then he can keep all that campaign cash and spend it on the golf course.

5. wtf indeed
I heard it first on NPR's Diane Reim show today and she was shocked! As I was. I then heard it again on both CBS and ABC news tonight. That roach killer is a sneaky one isn't he? If I were a repuke who contributed I would be pissed. But then it would require having a functioning brain to be pissed.

Yes, it's legal. They write laws for themselves so they can use campaign money for lawyers when they get caught.

13. What a shame that all those donations wont go to electing a republican
Edited on Tue Apr-04-06 06:23 PM by Lone_Star_Dem
It seems appropriate somehow, at least to me, that any fool stupid enough to donate to DeLay should end up getting the shaft.

I was wondering why he wouldn't just drop out before the primary in order to give the Repub challenger an easier go of it in the fall election.

Now I know why, he needed that money.

And the GOP talking point spin is that he dropped out for the good of the party.

Yah, right.
