Stupid AP Headline: "Bush critics alarmed over reports of possible strike"
Edited on Mon Apr-10-06 09:21 AM by abernste
It's on the Yahoo! homepage right now. Am I being oversensitive here, or is this an insulting headline? Shouldn't a pending preemptive nuclear strike against a sovereign nation alarm ALL Americans -- and not just "Bush critics?"

8. It should alarm the whole world.
If we have people in this country that are not alarmed by this news, we have serious, serious problems...

10. I'm looking forward to it myself
Why kill ourselves slowly, over decades, with all the crap we put in the water? Or wait while we watch the ice melt in the Arctic?

No, this is what we need. Humans aren't good at not using things. We made the bomb, and still have thousands just hanging around on the shelf. What better time to do it? 72 vigins here, sitting at the right hand of God there. Now is the time! We get to die in the frikkin' apocalypse!

Oh, the stories you can tell your grandchildren.

12. One would logically think so, but in this nightmare world, at least 25%
will be cheering as if winning an X-box video game.
