Latest poll shows Katherine Harris losing more ground to Nelson

Link: http://www.mercurynews.com/mld/mercurynews/news/politics/14386562.htm

Nelson was favored by 56 percent compared to 27 percent who preferred Harris in the poll by the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute. A similar poll two months ago had Nelson ahead 53-31 and Harris has since been plagued by staff defections and trouble raising money.

"It's a tough environment for Republicans now," Harris said Wednesday when asked about the latest numbers.

Yup. That's understandable. That asshole in the White House is a hard act to follow, for sure.

Brown noted those who viewed Harris' unfavorably outweighed those who saw her favorably by a two-to-one ratio, 37 percent to 17 percent. Even 58 percent of the Republicans questioned said they expected Nelson to win regardless of how they voted.

Come on darlin'. You can do it. Just spend some more of Daddy's money on your campaign. Then when it's all over just sit down and think about how your GOP friends abandoned you and write a nice little tell-all book about the Y2K selection.

1. She's going to need a straight jacket before it's all over...

5. I love it!
Nelson isn't always as liberal as we would hope, but he's a solid Dem overall and it's just great to see Harris fall on her ass over and over - haha

2. You hang in there Katherine Dear
Your ploy is working prefectly. Nelson is being lulled into a false sense of security. Keep on writing those checks on your personal account sweetheart. And call the white house and insist that bush come down and join you in a group of photo ops, with you two holding your hands high in anticipation of another gop win in Florida. God Bless you Dear!

7. Stay in till the 12th of May, anyway!!!
The GOP has to replace her before then, else they are stuck with her. So keep fighting, Kittykat, and use your weapons, Moxie and Spunk, to full advantage!

6. Go Katie! Pay no attention to polls or wisdom of any sort. . .
Stay the course, Kate! Hold in there until May 12 (after which you can't be replaced on the ballot). Then suck eggs. But 'till then, Katherine -- WE SUPPORT YOU SPENDING YOUR OWN MONEY 1000%! Go Katie!

8. I'll pose a question we all seem to be forgetting.
How far ahead was Max Cleland the day before the election?

What was the method of voting in Georgia?

What is Katherine Harris area of expertise? I'll answer that one. Election Fraud.

11. I'd love to see her get caught with her hand in the cookie jar.

I love to see a solid paper trail between her and Diebold brought to light. I would be in ecstasy upon seeing her and her latest staff of campaign workers in orange jumpsuits.

And BTW Doc. Good luck in your campaign. (I live in Lakeland)

12. My campaign is as dead as a door nail!
My only hope of qualifying is if Katherine Harris sends me a $10k qualifying fee.

I'd never accept it, but thanks for the good wishes anyway.

14. I'm spending all my time on John Russells campaign now.
He's running against Ginny Brown-Waite, and has a good shot at winning. Once we get rid of his primary opponent, who shouldn't be any problem.

10. That tell-all book is her golden parachute.
She knows that all she has to do is sell that story to the right outlet, and it doesn't matter how much of her daddy's money she lost.

I bet she's been staying away from small planes.

18. I think that you are right...
If she does go broke she could make it all back plus, by telling the truth on how she help that human disaster sue his way in to the Oval Office. Run Kathy, Run!!!
