http://www.laborradio.org/node/11311 By Doug Cunningham The AFL-CIO says the Americans Health Choices Act, which got a Senate hearing Thursday, demonstrates the commitment of Senator Ted Kennedy and the Democratic Senate leadership to comprehensive reform. The labor federation says the legislation will improve quality and efficiency of care while constraining costs and it will allow Americans to choose to maintain their current insurance if they’re satisfied with it.  |
