I think Buchanan got mad because the woman told a fib---implied South Carolina was a later state instead of just the third--in order to discredit a point that Buchanan was making.

However, the woman in question probably hated being on the set with old racist Buchanan.

It was like a SNL sketch.

The "shut up" didn't matter. She should have said "Make me." It was all the other crap. And then Abrams puts the whole Ferraro mess on the scorecard as just one X equal to any old flub.
