5. Well, the answers are pretty much cut & dried. Only several answers worth noting.
There are 4 candidates seated at a long table on stage who are running for senator. The one seated to Franken's left gave one of the funniest answers to a question about immigration. He quoted Kinky Friedman (sp?): "The only thing that will be accomplished by building a 20-ft. fence along the U.S./Mexico border will be creating the biggest demand for 20-ft. ladders this country has ever seen."

4. I'm 58 min. into watching it, & I haven't gotten that sense.
Franken got applause when he said he thought there would be more unity in Congress after the election.

Franken got a potshot in at Cheney when he mentioned that he went pheasant hunting with some guy named Colin. His first time hunting, his people prepared him beforehand by putting up a picture of a rooster ("This is what you shoot," they told him); then was told, "This is what you don't shoot," putting up a picture of Colin.

11. Yes, that is the one.
Nothing remarkable about it; just the typical run-of-the-mill debate. Franken was the only one writing notes throughout & that impresses me as conscientiousness.

7. They always are.....for a number of reasons.
Much of America's farming today is NOT done by small family farmers. Much of it is a big business, and it's amazing to see just how HUGE some of these farms are. I don't begrudge that.

I thought Al Franken did a wonderful job getting his points across. He didn't look like the bitter, ankle snapping mutt that wanted to harass norm coleman. He certainly did a good presentation of just how close to the criminal family in Washington coleman is connected.

I hope and pray that Al Franken will get the majority of the good folks of Minnesota to put him in Washington. One less repug obstructionist would be his first accomplishment.

Coleman is pretty worthless. He hasn't done anything for anyone but big business, and it was evident to me in this debate.

Go Al!!

8. Franken was good

Norm coleman is like the long lost twin of bushco. Exxon coleman couldn't get any closer to or up the rear end of oil companies. Yep this guy is a real sleaze.

9. Are those big white horse teeth of Coleman's real or dentures?
The visual quality wasn't so good (at least, for me) & at times, the only thing that stood out was that rather large set of teeth.
