And Mr. Prouty being a middle-aged white guy makes it even cooler. This shows that Obama really does have mass appeal.
I always figured Obama was a real mensch, and this clip just reinforces my impression. Even my super-cynical brother says Obama is the real deal. I'm worried as hell about the Karl Rove machine, but I still have hope. If Obama takes the White House, he'll do great things.
If anyone out there has connections to Obama campaign workers, please let them know that a lot of Canadians are rooting for him too. With that NAFTA-gate incident, he must have felt that Canada knifed him in the back. (Please don't nuke us, bro!) This does not represent what all Canadians are about. The leak was the work of some overly partisan Conservatives who like to suck up to George Bush.
BTW, once it became clear that Obama had become the presumptive nominee, CBC News did a very nice item with 3 or 4 African-Canadians making short speeches about how he's inspired them.

3. You can really hear Obama's cold in his voice - poor guy.

Just got back from vacation and boom! He was joking today that it was predictable he would get a cold after getting to spending extended time with his daughters and their friends.
