The rant, while enjoyable and seemingly well-informed, led me to think about the fact that giving Winky Palin that kind of attention really shows the abysmal state of our whole electoral process, that we even have to suffer the vitriolic Governor of the State of Ignorance. What a great smack-down, well deserved. Funny, as it's been said here already, every time Palin opens her

mouth to speak, in public, she never fails to say something stupid or insulting to the intelligence of the

'average American' (if there is really such a thing). If any sympathy can be worked up for her at all, it's

because she is just another pawn in their game. And she hasn't got a clue that she's being used (use me, Cheney,

I mean Jesus, to do yer will in the world).

Still, stupidity and blind ambition are no excuses for fear and hate mongering, using the VP nominee platform to
