7. WOW! What a jerk. I say the state should
enter into a contract with a new parking lot company. Take their business elsewhere. Why should they support hate?

Why does he take "offense" at Obama running? Hmmmmmm.....let's see....he's smart....can't be that...well it could be considering the source....I suspect it has something to do with Obama's Kenyan ancestry.

CNN spins it as a joke. Racism is no joke.

8. As sad as it may be, we do not elevate the level of discourse...
by assuming the man is a racist. He's probably someones crazy Uncle Chester, trying to get people all riled up. I've had my run-ins with people like this, illogical and irrational, yes. But not always racist. The Repug would love for us to turn this election into a issue of race and allow veiled statement to escalate into accusations of historic wrongs and reverse wrongs. This election is not about that, it is about choosing a great leader and fixing the problems of our wonderful country. We all have to work together to get there, and once we do we'll just pull the Chesters of the world along with us.

13. I never assume anything is racist

You have to be pretty obvious for me to take notice, and "he's offended that obama ran". Why? does he have any different views then other democrats? Not really. Is he a martian? no. Does he dress badly? no. The only thing I see different from obama and any other democrat is that he's BLACK.

This guy is a racist.

17. I don't take offense with John McCain running for President, I just disagree with him.
That's politics. This guy specifically said that he takes offense with Obama running at all. How else do you interpret it?

18. oh come on
He "takes offense" at Obama running? I disagreed with Bush/Cheney but they are certainly free to run. So is Palin. Now if I had a sense of entitlement and the thought that the presidency was reserved for white men, I might take offense at that too! The only difference now is that they are not openly using the "n" word. At least not for the cameras. Not yet.

12. I take offense at the white trash that raised this moron.
Along with the educational system that failed to teach peaceful coexistance to this
"Hard Working Wage Earner" Working at minimum wage all his life and now left with nothing but hate and animosity for people smarter than himself.

He probably blames all them foreigners for harvesting the food he eats, and making his overalls for less wages than he would work for. They stole his job after all!

This is why we cannot grow complacent about this election -- These people are more common than you can ever imagine. Add the exponential increase in anti-depressant medication, and you got a whole mess of idiot sheep ready to be told what to do.

I am ashamed at the regression that has occurred under Bush -- De-Evolution at its worst.

So he's saying that if you need to park here for work; and you are an Obama supporter with a sticker; that in America you must remove your sticker; a violation of American Free Speech.

I remember reading in 2004 about people losing their jobs for having Kerry stickers on their cars. ever since 9/11 right wingers have felt justified and even entitled to do this sort of shit.

26. No parking
It's with in his right since it's private property as I'm told?
(Though I hear a deal was stuck up between him and the Mayor of the city, so as to permit people to park there that have Obama stickers).

Nevertheless, and while I disagree with the fellow on this issue. If someone wants to display a bumper sticker, we disagree with. It's not our place to disallow it ,thus we might as well agree to permit those that disagree with our own bumper stickers, to disallow us. If you believe in equality then you must approve what you disapprove. Otherwise we ourselves become no better than those we oppose and become just another side of suppression.
