2. We can't have a country that has one party? That IS what we have had for the past
30 years by my count. Also - Murtha said that "those people" in Pennsylvania were racist because many of them are. From Washington, Pennsylvania:

So a canvasser goes to a woman's door in Washington, Pennsylvania. Knocks. Woman answers. Knocker asks who she's planning to vote for. She isn't sure, has to ask her husband who she's voting for. Husband is off in another room watching some game. Canvasser hears him yell back, "We're votin' for the n***er!"

Woman turns back to canvasser, and says brightly and matter of factly: "We're voting for the n***er."

To go to a MaGoo/Palin rally and stand in line with the hate crowd. LOL! They would stick an Obama sticker on his head and call him Hussein. LOL! Go on now go meet with your fellow republicans. I'm sure they will welcome you with open arms. LOL! This man is insane.

7. I wouldn't. They would have their "Joe the black man" who doesn't trust Obama.
Colin Powell

Condoleza Rice

Alberto Gonzales

The rethugs always put a black or other minority in the overseer positions whenever they can to keep the uppity ones in line.

It is sick thinking but they are appealing to a sick crowd.

13. Yes but if he
Were to walk up to a MaGoo crowd he probably wouldn't be able to get in one word before they start judging the cover of the book.

5. Wow!!!
That's all I have to say.

I wonder how much this jerk actually knows about politics and the U.S. in general.

side story: I am in PA for the duration of the campaign season. I went canvassing a couple weeks ago and encountered a woman who believed that Barack was not born in this country. My canvass buddy told her that he was born in Hawaii and she replied, "yes, that's what I mean. He wasn't born in America". So, I am thinking she means that he wasn't born at the when Hawaii was a state, upon further conversation, we found out she did not know Hawaii was state.

I kid you not!!!!!

It takes all kinds.

9. well you know, two idiots will outvote one genius every single time
So that's why the rest of us have to get together and work hard so that the people of this country who don't even know the states don't ruin it for the rest of us.

6. EXCUSE ME!? I am white and I'm voting for Obama because I'd be ashamed to vote for McLame.
McLame may be white but he's the worst Presidential candidate I have seen in my lifetime and that includes *ush.

Obama can not be ALL these terrible things because the right wing just keeps contradicting itself.

He's a muslim. He's under a crazy minister for 20 years. MAKE UP YOUR MINDS.

Obama is part of the Chicago Political Machine. OMG. Please. "Chicago corruption passed down from father to son."

His father was no part of the political scene in Chicago and his mama and granparents were more of an influence and they were definately not Chicago politicians.

DURING his time in Chicago WHO is the supposed political machine he associated with?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barack_Obama

WAS IT:

PROJECT VOTE?
Yes, I am sure the rethugs think all voter registration drives are suspect.

DCP? (Developing Communities Project) a church-based community organization originally comprising eight Catholic parishes in Greater Roseland.

Yes, that must be it can't trust those Catholics always helping the poor and such. Definate class warfare against the rich.

UNIV OF CHICAGO LAW SCHOOL?
MUST BE. After all how can you trust someone who taught constitutional law for twelve years to have any respect for the Constitution?

GIVE ME A FREAKIN BREAK. Just cause that man got black skin don't make him Barack's brother OR MINE FOR THA MATTER. Sell Out. Freak. Ignorant fool.

10. Regarding the Chicago politics thing....
Edited on Sat Oct-18-08 06:29 PM by Eric J in MN
...Obama was never a city official.

As a State Senator, he cast votes in the Illinois State Capitol, 200 miles from Chicago.

I don't have anything against public service in the Chicago city government, of course.

But it would be bad to assume that every Chicago city official is corrupt, and it's even more contrived regarding a state official who represented part of Chicago.

11. It's Called Self-Loathing
I have heard self-loathing African-Americans calling into the Sean Hannity radio show on a daily basis since the campaign began. This man is nothing new. This type of thing does happen in oppressed groups and I guarantee it was instilled in him beginning in childhood. Someone like this is constantly trying to prove that he is not like, "those people". Sad.

16. Um, the Bradley Effect isn't about racism, it's about people being afraid to be thought of as racist
for not voting for the minority candidate. The guy asking the questions in the video needs to get better informed.

20. If it isn't racism...
Edited on Sat Oct-18-08 08:08 PM by Limelight
And those people had legitimate reasons that they could stand up and be proud of to explain why they voted the way they did, why would they be too ashamed to tell the truth?

The Bradley Effect IS racism by cowards to scared to own up to it.

23. Sad State Of Political Insight!
What is sad that this fella only knows what he has heard on faux news. Listen to him talk and you soon realize that there is no real political insight or introspective there, he merely repeats basically the talking point garbage he has heard on faux and maybe several other so-called news outlets. I guarantee you that you could not have an in-depth conversation of the issues with him (hell, I don't think he could even really discuss the issues with you).

25. I'm guessing we have another "Joe The Plummer" on our hands?
Mora Minnesota is less than 0.30% African American.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mora,_Minnesota

As of the census<1> of 2000, there were 3,139 people, 1,381 households, and 814 families residing in the city. The population density in the year 2000 was 781.2/sq mi (301.4/km²). There were 1,471 housing units at an average density of 359.9/sq mi (138.9/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 96.71% White, 0.28% African American, 1.28% Native American, 0.19% Asian, 0.03% Pacific Islander, 0.25% from other races, and 1.25% from two or more races. 1.57% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are about ten blacks in the entire city of Mora, and I'm not exaggerating.
