Clip of Arnold saying he supports California same sex marriage despite his personal feelings and considers it will be overturned in his opinion and may pursue an edict to start should Jerry Brown and decide it is the legal way to go.

1. Well, Arnold, be like Bush* and make a signing statement.
Better yet, don't enforce it.

4. The Governor just said that the people should behave peacefully
Rather than protest or boycott? Anyone who supports Arnold after that is anti-American and anti-human. Arnold is more stupid than I ever imagined but he certainly proves he is a Republican.

8. As much as I don't like him...
I will give him credit for being able to see beyond his own beliefs. I bet his wife has him by the balls.

13. Proposition 8
has no legal standing. This is a representative democracy as first perceived by Aristotle. 51% of the people can't tell the remaining 49% to march into the sea. If this were a pure democracy there would be the tyranny of the majority. Only elected legislatures and the Unitary Executive can make law, not a simple majority under the influence of fear and bigotry.

14. Prop 8 Passes
It's been decided by the majority of voters in the state of California to BAN gay marriage. Although I've had many close gay friends, (and have even have had a few gay relationships myself in the past), I too voted in favor of this ban....it's not about hate or intolerance of gays for me...it's about LOVE of tradition. Yes, I'm a Democrat. Yes, I lean "left". No, I'm not homophobic. And..I'm Agnostic - no religious hang-ups.
The institution of marriage between a man and woman has been the same for thousands of years, in all cultures around the globe, and I, for one, am glad that this tradition will remain unchanged! Gay couples should have equal protection and rights...just call it a civil union, and leave hetero couples the long-honored tradition and sanctity of marriage as its always been.

17. You haven been thoroughly misinformed!
Not only has the concept and practice of the "institution of marriage" vastly changed over the centuries even in our own cultures that unfortunately are still dominated by various Christian religions, you can also find many different forms of marriage all over the world today.
