US president-elect Barack Obama has outlined more details of a plan to fix the United States' faltering economy. If approved, it would be the largest investment in American infrastructure since the 1950s and would cover projects including health care, roads, and broadband communications. But the one thing Obama has not done is put a price on it. Rosiland Jordan reports.

1. We need permanent jobs and a significant change to trade policy.

2. Broadband has to reach more than libraries. There has to be a program where folks can contribute >

their old wiped laptops and those who are of low income can apply for computer to get online. Access to the net is everything in getting things back on track. If more folks can get their own facts from an array of sources, the whole game changes and corporate propaganda will of had its day. There could even be a fund to contribute to, to help low icome people get online, it would be a worthwhile thing as it's an investment in the future. The PC could have educatgional software installed to, to help out those still at high school.

3. I don't agree with some of the things

he is planning, or some of  the appointments he has made; but,
shit, isn't it nice to have an adult in charge???
