3. Chris Matthews has it right...

He believes Obama's town meetings and Leno appearance are a 'rally the troops' to pass the budget. He will do a straight up or down vote in Congress...only 50 votes needed. Ballsy, yes....smart, yes, I think so....risky, yup.

Jay should have him on more often. Funny, articulate, smart, serious when it matters. Presidents from Illinois seem to do pretty well. Presidents from Texas . . . let's outlaw that.
