Is this what my tax dollars have been paying for - so that the SOB principal could let kids beat each other silly in the "rage cage" while covering up the very existence of these fights?

Maybe the principal should atone for his deeds by spending five minutes in the octagon with Uriah Faber or Forrest Griffin. Damn.

2. Solving disputes in a Steel Cage? I am thinking coolest school ever!!!!

I would love to be at this school if that was there policy. Talk about a school that churns out badasses. I would take it one step further and argue that I would love it if that were the policy in my office. Let's say that I have a client that I have a disagreement with.... we would take it to the steel cage. One way or another, the problem would be solved.

IMHO this is a bit of a non story anyway. There were 2 cases of students fighting in an equipment cage about 4-6 years ago, probably some high school kids goofing around, but the way the story portrays it, you would think that the school had a current policy of solving all disputes in a steel cage. To me it sounds like the reporter is blowing things out of proportion and/or sensationalizing it a bit. I am not saying that it is right, but I got into fights in the locker room when I was in high school and it didn't mean that my high school had a policy of settling all disputes by locker room brawls.

What shame they have brought down on the adults at this school. This is simply unacceptable and the brain dead adults that allowed this and did not speak up ALL need to be charged with child abuse and assault charges. Let them go fight in prison and see how they like it.
