2. Russert = Propagandist. Thank you
He said what needed to be said. It wasn't a personal attack on the man, but a sharp indictment of the system the man was happy to serve.

The mainstream media is broken in every aspect. It failed to get to the truth of Bush's warmaking when the key facts were sitting there in plain sight. Consequently we made a disastrous national blunder that cost us trillions of dollars and hundreds of thousands of lives.

It failed, and continues to fail, to get to the truth of the financial raping of this nation by Wall Street that, once again, has been conducted more or less in plain sight.

3. We are powerless without good journalism and the media outlets that support it.
We are not only lost, we are programmed rats.

4. This was such a good cathartic segment to watch...
Saw it on Friday night and I don't know how many times I found myself talking to my television. In agreement of course. Would have loved for it to go on and on. Bill Moyers is a national treasure.

5. The two best journalists: Goodman and Greenwald
What a treat to see them commenting on the others in the profession, in particular Russert.
They put his work in perfect perspective. Propagandist.

Thank you for posting this Hissyspit.
