4. He is right. My Iowa ancestors were staunch abolititionists and

supporters of equal opportunity -- way, way back. That's the Iowa way. You would be surprised at the liberal attitudes of Iowans.

I love Iowa and Iowans -- greatest people on earth.

A few years ago we flew to Ohio and drove back to California. Iowa was the state that impressed me most. The topography was not at all like I thought. I loved the rolling hills. It is really beautiful there and we met some wonderful people. Of course, we just went down I-80 but we did stop in Iowa City which is extremely progressive and we spent the night in Des Moines. Now we have a great excuse to go there for another visit. Congratulations to all Iowans !!!

p.s.--- This should be a federal issue. No one will truly have equality until the federal government gives LGBT people this ability. We're happy for Iowa, though !!!

We're pretty used to denigrating comments, so it's really nice to hear someone express appreciation for our wonderful state. It's far from perfect, but it is beautiful in so many ways and the people are wonderful.

I'm a proud Iowan and this ruling makes me even more proud.
