3. i hope more can find the means to stand up - numbers make a difference

given our origins, i can't say it is similar to our country's history, but there are some parallels - hopefully they too shall move beyond these things.

4. It makes me angry

that in response the U.S. is pretty much just saying we are here to fight our enemy and that is it. They know this bill is wrong, but aren't going to do anything to strongly protest it, that might make a difference, in actually getting it over turned.

I just wonder how our lawmakers would feel if it were the women in their family, in this situation. I wonder how the women in their families feel that they are not doing more to help stop this barbarism?

It makes me wonder how committed the U.S. actually is to Women's Rights, but hell why should this be any different? They don't seem to care about anyone's rights anymore.

My thoughts and admiration are with these brave women.
