2. They keep bringing up how the measures of Dubya's
Administration have kept America safe but conveniently leave out the fact that the detainees have never been charged with anything the whole time they've been there.

6. The amazing thing about the Right Wing is that they try to cover all negative bases each and every
time, regardless of how obvious the contradiction is. When Obama was involved in the hostage crisis, he was hit with "He is not paying attention" or "He better listen to the army to know what to do". When the best possible outcome happened, they played the "he killed 3 black teens" and "He is increasing the number of attacks" and "He had nothing to do with it, he was forced to sign a paper and nothing else" cards.

Now with this, they are torn between "It isn't torture" and "He is making our country less safe"

I think that this makes them pretty irrelevant. If you have ever known somebody who complains about everything, you just stop listening to him. If you have known somebody who never gets mad, you will see that those rare times when he is upset, people take note because they assume that there is an actual legitimate reason

I also like the way they use logic like "there are stories that torture has made some of the guys talk". Sure, there are stories, but no facts.

16. "there are stories that torture has made some of the guys talk"
Is that the most pitiful thing you've ever heard?

I'll bet ALL the "guys" talked! Of course what they said to stop the torture was useless.

8. slowly they slip into the less-than-20% support realm in the country - KEEP GOING FOX

Follow the GOP into the long dark night of obsolescence. Typewriters grew older, died and went away. So too is your old-gray-mare audience.

12. Worthless, meaningless clowns!
The whole network is made up of the biggest clowns in the nation. Of course, there are others ready to take their size 3.5 cap size jobs, but these are some of the biggest idiots in our nation. Great that they have their own network. And I suppose great that there are plenty of morons to support and follow their lunacy.

Just keep them away from power EVER AGAIN!! That was the worst 8 years of my life!!

23. it'd throw in that the intelligence community finally got its head out of its collective ass
and the CIA started communicating with the FBI and everyone re-evaluated all their procedures and threats.

of course this could have been done before 9/11 pretty easily, but I guess Bush and his appointees had other things to attend to, like uh...umm...brush clearing?

Edited on Fri Apr-17-09 07:24 PM by Downtown Hound
armed stormtroopers should enter shouting, "ON THE GROUND! EVERYBODY ON THE GROUND!" Then their anchors should be shackled, hooded, frog-marched in chains out of there to a prison van with a cage outside, and they should be shipped off to an undisclosed location where they can experience some of these not so bad techniques themselves.

have long curried favor with the People's Republic of China, so I guess that condoning such "paltry" torture as the US has used lately is a given.

This is like modern day facist/nazi propoganda!
What they are saying are flat out lies.
Accurate info is never obtained through torture.
These are war crimes and these TV idiots are trying to spin them as 'protecting America'.
Shameful. Just like the USA torturing. It is a national disgrace.

21. hum
My country hasn't had a terror attack ever. Not once, ever, and our defense budget is pretty much on the level of a small US town sheriff's budget. Surely that's worth a look.
