They played the infamous clip of Cheney on Fox News & above is Ishikoff's response to Cheney's comments on Torture Interrogation Techniques.

1. Did you notice .. Cheney was struggling harder than usual to get the words out of his mouth...

He usually talks in authoritative or even a dismissive tone .. but this time you could hear a little 'effort' in his voice..

4. The fact that he's making a huge effort to explain himself is evidence enough that he's scared.

2. But it would be so boring to fact check Cheney -- just not enough instances of facts could be found.

Of course it would be somewhat redundant to lie check him: almost everything he says is a lie.

3. His name is Michael Isikoff, without the "h".

He's been on top of the torture issue with his series of "Newsweek" articles. I get the impression that he's got a lot of good contacts in the DOJ.

He was on the Rachel Maddow show last night. He said people at the DOJ are probably listening to all these "looking forward" comments by spokesmen of the WH & saying, "It's not his decision to make; decisions to conduct criminal investigations are made by the Justice Dept. based on the facts & the law."

Isikoff said the White House shouldn't be meddling into who is & isn't prosecuted. He said people at DOJ are taking this prosecution issue very seriously & don't think they take their marching orders from the White House.

5. The eyebrows are the tell

I've never seen that much expressiveness in his facial muscles. His eyebrows tell me he's trying hard to push his case.
