Can't vouch for the source but it's an interesting look at who provided venture capital for Facebook. Draws the connection between Facebook, DARPA, and the Information Awareness Office.

Interesting, especially in its implied conclusion that intrusive snooping isn't a necessity, not when people are more than willing, even eager, to voluntarily divulge more than enough information for exploitation. That is, if they feel it's to their benefit, even for so marginal a benefit as "social networking."
