The 'F' word is a five hundred thousand dollar word. It amazes me that no one in the country has even noticed that he used it; never mind objecting to it, or fining Fox News for his use of it.

I don't object; I just note the disparity. There is five hundred thousand dollars of hypocracy on the table here.

I believe in the same issue as Shep Smith with the same amount of passion? If you would have told me I would be doing that, even a week ago, I would have laughed.

Great commentary as well. Cenk is right. If this is making Fox 'News,' the right is in real trouble.

Think thats the second time in a year he's pulled something that surprised whomever. Can't remember what else he did but it sounds like Shep.

13. Kudos for Shep for finding his spine, but...

it's also a bit of a weasel - We already have tortured, Shep. I applaud you for finally standing up, but I wish you had sooner.

14. It's an absolute.

The most important thing Shep said....more than once...was "It doesn't matter whether it worked or not" and it doesn't. Of course mainly because we all know IT DIDN'T WORK. But this emerging "ends justify the means" argument is irrelevant. If it's illegal....it's illegal.

(Besides if the "ends" are so important, they can take one for America and go to jail. It'll have been worth it, right Dick? You may be in an orange jumpsuit, but you saved America! Of course they know it was just revenge and not information gathering. It made things worse was all useless, so no martyrdom for Dick!)

Notice how even when he "loses it" he still looks and sounds more sane than those defending torture. There is no way to defend torture and look good or even reasonable. You will always look like a fool.
