Kristol has never been right about anything is his life!! Yes BRING IT ON!!!

Oh and then Brit Hume (isn't he retired yet?) recreates history
-----------

Hume: I predict Mara, based on what you're saying that any prosecution which will come out of this will be a total farce.

There will be a series of show trials with "grand inquisitions' and all the kinds of things we've been associated with. It's possible that those lawyers will get hauled before Congress and do to any investigation there Oliver North did to the 9/11 commission, which was to render it the farce  (Ollie North testified in front of the 9/11 Commission?) that it always was from the beginning, that would be a good outcome, but this whole area ... what should be a closed chapter -- I don't see any national benefit to it...

Kristol:... I think now that the door is open, I say "bring it on." Let's have a big national debate on this. Let's have Steve Bradbury confront his accusers, who are one tenth the lawyers he is, and we're not under the pressure he was under and not a real threat. Let's have George Tenet testify. Let's have Mick Hagen testify. Let's have a serious debate, let's have Dick Cheney take on anyone that the left wants to produce about whether we were responsible, whether it was a dark chapter in our history that we have to be ashamed of or whether the US government behaved in a very fine way and I think a very impressive way...

1. Does everyone understand what a farce it is...
Edited on Sun Apr-26-09 08:14 PM by CoffeeCat
...that these despicable neocon Fascists frame the torture debate using Khalid Mohamed, one of the 9/11 perpetrators?

They always pit the debate as having two camps: The brave forces of evil against 9/11 VS the pansies who want the 9/11 perpetrators
to be asked nice questions.

Well SCREW YOU, Bill Kristol--you perverted pig!

We murdered dozens of detainees and tortured hundreds! Only one was involved with 9/11 and you damn well know that the torture
debate is not about this!

We plucked innocent men off the streets of Iraq and Afghanistan. We never charged them with a crime, and they were never
prosecuted. But we tortured them! Some of them we killed.

That's what this debate is about.

Do they ever stop using 9/11 to justify and rationalize their sick behavior and policies?

16. "Bring it on" business
Repugs would absolutely LOVE to have liberals start
investigations. They want to sap the energy needed to
transform this country starting with Education, Healthcare,
and the Environment. DON'T TAKE THE BAIT!
They look so fondly at Oliver North playing dress-ups and Rush
throwing red meat at the congregation.

6. When I heard "Chavez is a Tyrant"
Edited on Sun Apr-26-09 09:05 PM by StClone
I turned the channel. First time I've clicked on FOX in months. I just don't get how a popular Democratically elected leader of a small country, who may easily not be re-elected, is a tyrant when giving free oil to poor Americans and shipping much of Venezuela's petroleum to the U.S. unimpeded. Maybe Big Oil's forced nationalization is why he's a tyrant? Chavez is a bully to big oil!

29. The Venezuelan elections were a sham
Chavez has taken control of the media, rigged elections, and set himself up as de facto ruler-for-life. I know several Venezuelans who are ashamed of what has taken place in that country. While I agree with some of his populist policies, it doesn't change the fact that this guy has seized power illegally.

31. Nothing you have stated is any different than the illegal installation of *.
You can add the fact that every American was held hostage by * commandeering our Constitution and spying on them illegally. How can people complain about Chavez in light of all of this?

27. I think this is evidence that
Kristol and the thugs that ran things for 8 years might at this point be angry and a little scared at what might transpire. The jig is up. bjobotts do you post like this to get your post numbers higher? I see you do it all the time and it's a bit annoying.

17. Good thing Fox News has guys like Hume, who are fair and unbiased
because most americans agree that comments like, "I predict Mara, based on what you're saying that any prosecution which will come out of this will be a total farce." and "farce that it always was from the beginning" and "but this whole area what should be a closed chapter. I don't see any national benefit to it" -are fair and unbiased.

25. This whole waterboarding issue - torture or not - makes me sick
If you've ever had the unfortunate experience of being at the beach and out of nowhere a huge wave washes over you. You fight like mad to get to the surface so you can breathe, and in those seconds, you feel like you're drowning. It's utterly unforgettable and terrifying. End of story.

26. he invokes Ollie North?
This is his example of a man of honor? He called the 9/11 commission "a frustrating exercise in Washington finger pointing.”
This man was convicted of aiding and abetting in the obstruction of a congressional inquiry, and destruction of documents
in the Iran/Contra trial. Why am I not surprised. These people are the worse of our society and would deny our Constitution it's role
were it not for the outrcry. Yes bring it on. We don't want a dictatorship. Ever!

Evidently EVEN the Bush admin didn't think so much of bill's intelligence to offer him a job. He does although deserve the award for the "DUMBEST MOTHERFUCKER ON THE PLANET".
