2. wtf. Can they get any lower? ... don't answer that.
I shouldn't be too shocked. The GOP never really recognized hate crimes for what they were -probably because the more people arrested for such offensives would result in less votes (felons can't vote)

4. Foxx you're the type of woman that I cannot imagine ANY man or woman ever wanting to touch - I weep
if there's a man in your life, you stinking vile worthless bigot. To stand in Congress and actually spew forth that lie is worthy of censure. Every time I see this 'woman', I wanna gag, she sounds like a perfect little nazi-pig.

Her words are poison...

14. Thanks for the link. I e-mailed her but since I am in Kentucky, she will
probably ignore my rant, even if she allows an aide to read it. However, I feel better having sent it. Please do so, especially you 5th district North Carolinians.

7. What is it about Republicans that they think they can just say anything and that makes it factual?
We've heard it for years with the RW talk shows. Michele Bachmann has set new standards in spewing bullshit in interviews and on the House floor. Now, Rep. Foxx?

9. She's angling for her own
hate radio talk show.
She is one of the many reasons for Republican failure. Without their illegal seizure of the Presidential microphone they can't create their own reality without impunity.
No doubt this will get her 15 minutes of fame right up there with others espousing Klan ideals.

11. am sorry North Carolina
but this woman is a bigot and just plain ignorant. They quote her in wikipedia about this. She's been around awhile in NC politics so it was a vote for racism when they voted for her in the 5th district. When you see the statistics you'll know why.

619,178: 89.5% White, 6.8% Black, 0.8% Asian, 3.6% Hispanic, 0.2% Native American

Foxx was one of 11 members of Congress to vote against the $51 billion aid package to victims of Hurricane Katrina. She was also one of only 33 Republicans to vote against the extension of the Voting Rights Act in July 2006.

On April 29, 2009, while sitting across from Judy Shepard -- the mother of Matthew Shepard, after whom the Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2007 is colloquially referred to

"She should be ashamed," said Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga.), himself a victim of a hate crime during the struggle for civil rights.

Rep. Virginia Foxx MUST Resign!
Representative Virginia Foxx (R-NC) has dishonored herself, her party and the entire US House of Representatives. In order to try to score a political point, she claimed that "we know" that the Mathew Shepard murder was not a hate crime. She called it a "hoax." Moreover, she did so knowing full well that Judy Shepard – mother to a murdered son – was sitting in the gallery. Others have claimed that Foxx was ignorant and stupid.

state!!! Almost as bad as here in Kentucky where we are represented by McConnell and Bunning. At least if Bunning runs in 2010 (please, Lord, let him), he's gone. 2010: a good time for the great state of North Carolina to excise this female farce.
