1. Why was this video posted?

It's some guy giving advice on avoiding certain general forms of marketing behavior. Although targeting healthcare providers, the content has very little to do with healthcare.

What is "scumbag" about it exactly? That healthcare providers would have the audacity to market their services? That they would deign to react to a recessed economy? That the guy speaking has an MBA?

Don't get me wrong - I have problems with our healthcare system too, but this is grasping at straws. Try focusing on actual problems instead of just randomly pointing fingers and shouting "BAD!"

2. Obviously... the point went

This video displays the disconnect of the business class with reality (or normal human empathy). When most of us are wondering what is going to happen with our health care, here we have the health care industry worrying first about their profits... and wondering if it all is a simple case of "bad marketing."

I think the video, in that context, points out very clearly that divide...

Furthermore, parasites like the jackass in this video are partially the reason why our health care costs are through the roof. When these parasites expect their cut, for pointing the obvious, and thus compounding the final cost... with no value proposition whatsoever to the final "consumer" (although normal humans prefer to refer to them as "patients"). Just because this asshole expects a nice salary because he learn to move his hands real good during a powerpoint presentation... and then that cost ends up being passed on to me... which as a patient, I just don't give a f*ck about that specific set of skills... which has nothing to do with my health care, and everything to do with the sense of entitlement of said asshole.

Since you point out right away that class is the underlying problem in the video. It never ceases to amaze me that when someone points out that the upper class is winning, they can say "he's appealing to class warfare" and the losers of the class war will disperse and go away mumbling "we can't do that, everyone in America is middle class".

East TN and SWVA. http://www.wisecountyissues.com/?p=62 Sadly and clearly PROFIT CARE is more important than PATIENT CARE and misleading, false and fraudulent advertising is okay with Tennessee and Virginia. East Tennessee health care licensing board even calls the health care "horrifying" but perfectly within their standards of quality care.
