any differently than I would!

9. nope, she doesn't. do you know how she got started in politics?

i didn't know this until recently, although i have lived in her district since before it was her district.
she was a full time mom, and she and some of her friends got pissed off that dates on food were in a code that people couldn't read. they bugged store employees, dug and dug, shared info, and eventually figured out most of the date codes. then they started agitating for open dating, which is now the law.
don't piss of the moms, man. you never know what might happen.

seriously, she wants to see prosecution of war criminals, and is on the intelligence oversight committee. i know she has bugged obama about this. i hope they have a plan.

I was really disappointed during the
whole Blago thing to learn that she
wasn't on his short list.

Pissed me off, because, of course,
the first thing I did was to look
for (and find) a "Schakowsky for
Senat" website and a petition to
sign for Obama requesting him to
push for her to fill his senate
seat.

And we all know how THAT turned out!

the 9th district of illinois did more to get o elected than anyone, both for the senate and the white house. we are now a legend.
so, not only does she have his ear, she has a grip on some other parts of his anatomy, i think.
