I lived in London for years and follow British politics closely. One thing of constant amusement - and which permeates across British pop culture even with those with no interest in politics - is that British Conservative Party members of parliament are ALWAYS getting caught in these types of sex scandals. Hookers, orgies, bullwhips up their ass - it never ends...

Same thing is obviously true of the Republicans. And indeed, the same thing is true of almost ALL people who are sexually repressed and frustrated (catholic priests, take a bow).

And yet, because this same repression and frustration is promoted in the context of "religious values", the rest of us (who are openly enjoying our sex lives) must apparently take that position seriously.

Why should we take anything so unnatural as the denial of sexual normality (which is what the "family values" crowd hate so much) seriously?

Answer: we shouldn't. Hence we should not waste time waiting for these freaks to be found soliciting men in an airport toilet. Nor should we wait to hear that they have been found sending sexually explicit emails to children. Rather we should recognise them from afar and make instant and endless fun of their fake positions: fake morality, fake family values and fake identity.

This fakery applies even to those not (yet) caught being active sexual hypocrites. Because the falsity of their positions comes not just from being caught in the hypocritical act itself, but rather it comes from the unnatural and unhuman approach to sex that these religious people take as a given. They don't need to get caught in one of the aforementioned acts in order to be appropriately identified as the propogaters of the religious lie that sex = sin/evil. Deep down they know it is a lie (which is why their natural urges, however weird, can't be denied and so find expression one way or another).

So, the next time you see one of these republican dickheads open his yeasty little mouth in public to decry the decline of "moral values" across the country, understand this and understand it well - he would much rather be locked in a basement with a sweaty Boss Limbaugh wearing a rubber mask and with mischief in mind.
