I don't know if she's a Republican or not but this is happening BECAUSE Bernie Sanders amendment to the Credit Card Bill capping interest rates at 15% DID NOT PASS thanks to the Republicans and 15 Democratic TRAITORS (Bluedogs) in the Senate. Just days after Obama signed the bill. The BANKSTERS started sending out notices that said DUE TO MARKET CONDITIONS... I know becuase i got one myself.

So. Since the HEALTHCARE BILL is looking like the exact same thing as the CREDIT CARD BILL..

Beware. My offical prediction....

3. it's a start
Little rebellions don't have a good track record. Perhaps an announced BofA Card burning at a TV stations office, or in front of a Federal Reserve Bank might have a bigger impact. And don't contribute to the Democratic Party, it stands for nothing, just give to specific candidates willing to lead the charge for our viewpoints.

15. "don't contribute to the Democratic Party" - I no longer do. I only give to
candidates who buck the system.

(Oh, that's right. Dennis can't win.)

4. come on people!
you go girl, i have already done it. not intentionally but i do not feel bad. i bet your call to b of a about reducing your interest rate has already been reflected on your credit report. now credit card debt is an unsecured debt, they cannot garnish wages or take property. each state has a time limit of how long that credit card debt can be collected. they can try but according to your state laws there are limits. the calls can be annoying but there are limits on those too. chase raised my rate because they said there were insufficient funds from another back and so our balance went to 19% from 2.99% after they investigated, my other bank also researched and told chase there was no request from chase for funds and there was plenty of money in there. chase then told me through the bank manager that there was an error and those added interest payments would be deducted from the balance. a month later and no reduction, i called the manager and she said there was something wrong and the district manager took over and would contact me. many calls and 2 years later, i am ignored. so i do not feel bad that i am not paying the credit card. if your credit is screwed as mine was, not due to my fault, you have nothing to loose. i got this from an attorney.

now i want to know if anyone has had a problem with their car insurance premiums going up due to their credit??? i am a bigger risk now, i have the money to pay the yearly premium but i am still a higher risk. when my husband died my rates went up also because i was now single and a bigger risk. my god i am 67 years old, i have never had an accident or ticket in almost 50 years of driving. why was i a better risk than a male when i was 18 but now a bigger risk than a male when i am 67????? my husband had the accidents, no one would drive with him. i think the next big thing that is going to explode out of control is car insurance.

when did everything change, why is everything now connected to your credit score????? talk about guilty first, you cannot even try to prove your innocence. a murderer gets better legal treatment.

18. yikes!
16, let's say that is about four sweaters a year!!!!! anyone got an extra spinning wheel!!! mine cats are all indoors. my davy is a very willful child and only the squirt bottle stops him. he was in the bedroom and attacking another cat. i started squirting him in the face so he backs out into the hallway and comes down the hall ass back wards until he is clear of the squirt bottle. he also will put his mouth on the bottle and wait for a squirt, must be like squirting whip cream into your mouth. anyway i love cats, but 8 is enough (gee, good title for a t.v. show). at my age they may outlive me. thanks for listening. trying to avoid commentaries about obama's speech. those repubics were such assholes!!!! i sent joe wilson an email and told him he was low class and shamed his state.

Or rather I was already pulled into this by God knows how many credit card companies. I agree with her and I'll add that if this is our country's future, we have no future.

14. It doesn't matter if she were a Republican because she is RIGHT. I got one
of those letters from AMEX worded that it was in the best interest of the company that they should go up on my APR -- to what, it was not stated. These were the people who knocked off 8K from my available credit about 6 months ago. I now when my account cycles and actually pay what I intend to pay BEFORE the statement arrives. So much for loyalty. Thieves.

All the DOGS have to go in the next election.

21. Blimey; where'd ye find that?
:wow:

And, no, I'd never piss such a person off. I used to know an alcoholic... (I didn't piss her off, but she thankfully went to lie down on her couch so I could call 911 to get the ambulance over despite her protests... the next day I found out her alcohol level - it would have killed her... )
