paper entitled "inductive and Apriori logic as perceptual dysfunction and a stalemate in the Counseling process", it was about using meditation to return the brain to its Default setting. worked great in the Juvenile Prison.. miraculous results within a month or 2

41. it is the same with Wall street, OCD gambling addicts and wealth Hoarders.. on a Psychotic level,
they murder people..people are dying because of their behaviors.

1200 smokers die daily, 1080 were addicted as children, 540 of them were addicted at 12 years old or younger. the industry is dependant on addicting children to replace the adults they addicted as children, that they knowingly murderd with their insidious product

***************

People, Beck is an act albeit a bad one that poisons the weak mined who listen to him ..... but he is an act.

How is this for the actions of "a Godly person?"

According to Zaitchik, after a rival radio host's wife had a miscarriage, " 'Beck called her live on the air and says, "We hear you had a miscarriage,"
remembers Brad Miller, a former Y95 DJ and Clear Channel programmer. 'When Terry said, "Yes," Beck proceeded to joke
about how Bruce apparently can't do anything right -- about he can't even have a baby.' "

He reminds me more and more of the talking head from _V_ every time I let myself see him.

I'll let all connotations of that image stand.

"No one escapes their past. No one escapes ... judgment."

Indeed.

10. I think that most Americans are, give or take, Buddhists, even if they call it God.
The civic church, the christianity as a scrubbed religion reduced to cultural element, the "God is love" crowd, the religion as a metaphor people, are all give or take Buddhists.

11. Can't we find some obscure former DJ, former drug/alcohol addicted guy
who will get on Fox News with an hour show, condemn the left and then suddenly have an epiphany, realize we were right all along?

Why does Glenn Beck, who has about as many followers as Sarah Palin, about 4 million out of 300,million plus....why does this guy deserve our attention?

Is he smart? NO!
Is he insightful? NO
Does he have a history of doing good for America like Oprah?
Did he ever hold political office?
Does he ever actually make sense?

If you can answer YES to any of the above, I bet you don't really belong here. So why do you pay him more attention than he deserves?

22. I don't have a problem with people following what ever religion
suits them or what ever God they want to revel, but I do have a problem with anyone saying that those who don't follow their God are not good people. Going to church and believing in God does not make you a good person. In fact I have found some churches to preach racism, homphobia and prejudice which I would say are not good characteristics. Because of this I am not interested in church or God. I have many friends who go to church and many who don't and they are all good people. The more I hear someone like Beck saying this the more I hate religion. I have not found that the schools are taking Christmas songs out of school but I do find people who have strong religious beliefs who insist that certain books, videos, sex ed and evolution be taken out of the school or skimmed over. Beck gives me the creeps becasue he is not a good guy. He is giving the Mormon church a very bad name.

45. Yes I agree. My daughter was in a play that was supposed to be a
high school play but some people complained and had it kicked out of the school. It was eventually performed at the local college. But what really upset me was that these people that didn't like the play said that the kids and their parents that were involved with this play were "immoral". This kind of crap makes me hate religion and before I moved here I didn't feel this way. But not all people that go to these very conservative churches feel this way. I have had several who go to the same church who have come up to me and said that they did not feel that way about the play. They felt that if they didn't like it they would not go.

38. The more religious a country, the fewer problems they have.
According to a Gallup poll from Feb. of this year, the countries with the highest level of daily-observed faith in their lives are: Egypt, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Congo, Sierra Leone, Malawi, Senegal, Djibouti, Morocco, and the UAE.

Nope, no problems at all in any of those demi-Edens. Paradise on Earth, all of them.

"religion was invented to control a wide body of people". That made kind of made sense when he said this when I was in my 20's and now that i am in my 50's it really makes sense!

"Let's get this guy God. That's the fourth kid he's killed this week!"

Maybe the right wing should focus on fixing some of the godless things they do, you know, the things they criticize others for.
