"More & more leading Republicans are supporting health insurance reform... But some Republicans are siding with the health insurance companies, and just saying no to health insurance reform. Tell Republicans just saying no isn't a solution."

2. if Health Care passes without GOP, it hurts GOP not DEMS
Just like with medicare or social security, no one wants that to go away.

And in Great Britain, the conservatives there wish our so called conservatives here
would stop knocking health care.

3. If the point of that ad was to get Republicans to change their mind
even with public pressure prodding them, then I think that ad would be a huge failure. But I don't think that is the purpose of that ad.

I think this is a really just a way of announcing to the public that republicans are the problem, obstructing health care negotiations and serving as insurance industry lackeys.

This is presenting a very diplomatic tone as if they want to bring republicans around, but it delivers the message that the these particular republicans can't really be reasoned with and are a problem that needs to be removed.

It is a nice backhanded way of naming the obstructionists who need to be kicked out of the way without seeming to be hostile or confrontational.
