Joe Klein Tells O’Reilly: ‘Glenn Beck Is Peddling A Lot Of Hateful Crap’

Last night on Fox News’ The Factor, host Bill O’Reilly asked Time Magazine’s Joe Klein to comment on a recent poll showing that Americans trust Fox News more than all other television news networks. “I don’t place all that much faith in many polls,” Klein said. After O’Reilly boasted about Fox’s ratings, Klein noted that there are some Fox journalists “who actually bring you the news,” but then went on to note that Fox also has more incendiary and “hateful” voices, like Glenn Beck, whom O’Reilly defended as “funny”:

2. O'reilly is such an asshole

really? why do American's put such trust in people like him and beck when they don't even let their opponents speak? I'm guessing the answer has something to do with the average American being just as rude or having too short of an attention span to listen to more than one argument in a short period of time but I still wonder............

She taught her son no manners at all. Who brings a guest onto their show and calls them a pinhead? How is that proper behavior?

And for all that Faux is in love with their ratings, I notice they never brag about their 'integrity' or 'honesty'.

5. The worst thing about O"Reilly is he talks over his guests, particularly as they're making a point,

this tactic stifles their momentum and throws them off their message.

O'Reilley is just propaganda and even though Klein squeezed a good word in their, they might as well have been stroking one another.

The way I see it FOX "News" leads in the ratings because they're the network most committed to non-critical, partisan thinking and that's a comfortable way to be for enough people to support their propaganda, I also believe it's divisive and potentially dangerous to the nation.

The rest of the networks; are just a lighter shade of ambiguous gray dividing up the people but essentially their underlying corporate supremacist interests are the same.
